A look at one’s shoes immediately fetches you a whole personality description of that person. Shoes are one thing that never go unnoticed and when it comes to a woman, owning some elegant pairs of footwears, is simply a part of their nature. A pair of ravishing footwear can make an average looking dress, look remarkable almost instantly. Exquisite footwears include stilettos, heals, pumps, wedges and endless designs and varieties, but not having nice feet to fit in these graceful footwear is such a pity.

Cracked and dry feet are just an eye sore and also makes you feel uncomfortable in public. Hence from hygiene and beauty point of view, your feet must be kept well maintained, always! Here are ten tips in order to get smooth, supple and presentable feet in no time

1. Gently use foot scrub to shed off dry and old skin while you’re in shower. Also massage your foot in circular movements. This step will help you in stimulating blood circulation and in skin regeneration.

2. Here’s an exfoliating scrub recipe: Mix a handful of rice with a few tablespoons of honey, lemon and olive oil. Stir it continuously until it becomes a thick paste. Now gently rub feet with your own homemade scrubber.

3. Immediately after shower apply moisture to your feet. While shopping for foot cream, look for a foot cream that contains salicylic acid, lactic acid or urea which are great hydrating elements. Take care not to moisturize the area between your toes as it can lead to fungal infection.

4. Moisturize your toenails by rubbing lotion or cream on them and don’t forget to remove it after 5-10 minutes.

5. Soak feet in a solution of 1/4 cup vinegar in a shallow bowl of lukewarm water for just 15min. Repeat this twice a week as it will improve and cleanse the skin of your feet. Do apply moisture after towel drying.

6. Massage olive oil mixed with a bit of vinegar or lemon juice and few drops of honey over the feet gently before going to bed.

7. Even a pair of cotton socks can do wonders. Apply foot cream before bed and slip on the cotton socks .You can easily feel the softness of skin in the morning.

8. Give your feet a spa treatment at home only. Rub your facial mask on your feet (it will surely work) and wrap them in plastic wrap or a towel. Relax for about five minutes. Wash and dry your feet gently. A smile surely will be there when you’ll touch your feet.

9. Mix an equal amount of glycerin and rose water and rub it on your feet daily and keep it overnight.

10. Cut papaya into pieces and blend it in a blender and mix lemon to the thick paste. Now apply this paste on your feet properly and keep it for 15 minutes (meanwhile you can watch TV or can listen to your favorite song). After 15 min wash your feet with lukewarm and dry gently by towel.

11. Try not to walk barefoot as that will make your feet and heels rough while walking on the floors. Always wear shoes or socks in order to take care of your feet.
